Plantacote® Top K 2M

High K, Low N—The Ultimate 60-Day Nutrient Balance for Container Crops.

Plantacote® Top K 2M is ideal for potassium-loving, low-nitrogen crops with short growth cycles, making it perfectly tailored for perennials, alpines, ornamental grasses, hardy nursery stock, and herbs.

Each granule delivers a high-potassium, restricted-nitrogen formula enriched with essential nutrients to ensure compact growth, intense flower coloring, and superior stress resilience.

K-Focused Precision for Container Culture

This low-nitrogen, high-potassium formula prevents elongated growth in pots, delivering exceptional structural strength and a compact habit to container-grown ornamentals, perennials, and alpines.

Targeted 2-Month Window for Winter Hardiness

The precise 2-month longevity is perfectly timed for late-season application, accelerating tissue lignification to maximize frost resilience in container nurseries.

Stress-Free Deficit Correction in Potted Crops

An ideal corrective treatment for potassium deficiencies that ensures a gentle, continuous nutrient supply, restoring plant health rapidly without substrate EC spikes or root burn.

Incorporation

Plantacote® Top K 2M is evenly mixed into the growing media before potting.

Dibbling

The product is placed on the bottom of a planting hole, lightly covered with media before putting the plant into the hole. Note: Due to the short longevity, we do not recommend this method for sensitive or young plants with a delicate root system.

Topdressing

The granules are applied to the surface of the substrate. We recommend placing them close to the watering system for best results.

Attention

Please consider, these are general recommendations which require adjustments in case of specific situations. All dosages are based on unfertilized media; reduce them if other fertilizers are used.

We recommend testing on a small scale first before changing your standard cultivation practice. Since circumstances can vary and as the application of our products is beyond our control, Plantacote® cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.

Controlled Release Temperature Factor: The rate of nutrient releases can vary according to the temperature of the substrate: 2M is determined at 21°C, 15-16°C results in 2-3M and 26-27°C in 1-2M.
