Plantacote® Top K 8M

High-potassium strength enriched with a complete, fully balanced trace element profile.

Plantacote® Top K 8M is engineered for long-cycle crops and woody plants requiring full-season structural support and winter preparation.

Its continuous high-potassium delivery ensures compact growth through summer, while actively hardening tissues and promoting wood lignification for maximum frost resilience.

Continuous Potassium from Early Potting

Ideal for early spring potting schedules, guaranteeing a steady, uninterrupted flow of potassium for 8 full months of constant plant stability.

Tailored N:K Balance for Long-Term Crops

The stable 1:2 N:K ratio prevents salt accumulation and excessive vegetative growth over the 32-week cycle, resulting in compact, well-proportioned, and sturdy plants.

Ultimate Frost Resistance & Overwintering Success

The continuous potassium release late into autumn ensures maximum wood maturation, cell wall thickening, and carbohydrate storage, preparing container stock perfectly for severe winter frosts.

Incorporation

Plantacote® Top K 2M is evenly mixed into the growing media before potting.

Dibbling

The product is placed on the bottom of a planting hole, lightly covered with media before putting the plant into the hole. Note: Due to the short longevity, we do not recommend this method for sensitive or young plants with a delicate root system.

Topdressing

The granules are applied to the surface of the substrate. We recommend placing them close to the watering system for best results.

Attention

Please consider, these are general recommendations which require adjustments in case of specific situations. All dosages are based on unfertilized media; reduce them if other fertilizers are used.

We recommend testing on a small scale first before changing your standard cultivation practice. Since circumstances can vary and as the application of our products is beyond our control, Plantacote® cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.

Controlled Release Temperature Factor:
The rate of nutrient releases can vary according to the temperature of the substrate: 8M is determined at 21°C, 15-16°C results in 9-10M and 26-27°C in 6-7M.
