Plantacote® Top K 12M

Steady Potassium Flow: The Secret to Long-Lasting Plant Vitality.

Plantacote® Top K 12M provides a year-round, 12-month nutritional backbone for slow-growing nursery stock, conifers, and overwintering container crops.

By focusing on high potassium over nitrogen, it prevents late-season stretching, maximizes winter frost resilience, and keeps plants compact, wind-resistant, and retail-ready from this season to the next.

6-to-8-Month Coverage in Hot Climates

Ideal for early spring potting schedules, guaranteeing a steady, uninterrupted flow of potassium for 8 full months of constant plant stability.

Year-Round Structural Stability

The constant 1:2 N:K ratio delivers a steady flow of potassium, preventing soft, leggy growth and maintaining compact, sturdy plant structures even during prolonged growing seasons.

Ultimate Frost Resistance & Overwintering Success

The continuous potassium release late into autumn ensures maximum wood maturation, cell wall thickening, and carbohydrate storage, preparing container stock perfectly for severe winter frosts.

Incorporation

Plantacote® Top K 12M is evenly mixed into the growing media before potting.

Dibbling

The product is placed on the bottom of a planting hole, lightly covered with media before putting the plant into the hole.

Topdressing

The granules are applied to the surface of the substrate. We recommend placing them close to the watering system for best results.

Attention

Please consider, these are general recommendations which require adjustments in case of specific situations. All dosages are based on unfertilized media; reduce them if other fertilizers are used.

We recommend testing on a small scale first before changing your standard cultivation practice. Since circumstances can vary and as the application of our products is beyond our control, Plantacote® cannot be held responsible for any adverse results.

Controlled Release Temperature Factor:
The rate of nutrient releases can vary according to the temperature of the substrate: 12M is determined at 21°C, 15-16°C results in 14-16M and 26-27°C in 10-11M.
